Most jobs are stressful to a degree, but the demands put upon executives, business owners, healthcare professionals, attorneys, pilots, public figures, and upper-level management puts them at a higher risk for abusing drugs, alcohol, or pain medication. And while these addictions can put even greater stress on work and family life, it can be tempting to consider that taking the time to seek help would cause too much of a disruption to your business or department.
At Lake Behavioral Health, we understand the needs of high-level professionals when receiving substance abuse treatment. While it may seem like you have too much responsibility to take time for treatment, our physicians create individualized programs to address the unique needs, goals, and issues you have to help get you back on the path of sobriety and mending your relationships and reputations. You’re not in this alone — contact us today.
Letting go of the reigns and seeking treatment can be difficult for people who have made a career out of being in charge. But we’ll work with you every step of the way for a holistic approach to your recovery. We offer multi-dimensional treatment methods that put you at the forefront of your own recovery. Some of our treatments include the following. To learn more about all the SUD treatments we provide, contact us today.
We screen patients for mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, dementia, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, so that their mental health can be taken into account during treatment to prevent relapse.
We use medication to address the chemical imbalances that cause drug and alcohol addiction and to prevent cravings and withdrawal symptoms, allowing patients to ease into recovery. This can include suboxone treatment for opioid addiction.
These are strictly confidential sessions with a therapist to identify the connection between the patient’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and focuses on the driving force of the addiction. Therapy can be one-one, with family, or with a group.
Once primary drug rehabilitation has been completed, we ensure that patients are educated and empowered to navigate post-treatment life to ensure that there won’t be a relapse.
More likely than not, your addiction or dependence has already made a negative impact on both your personal and professional life.
